Dr Abdullah Ismail completed his undergraduate studies in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at WITS in 2012.  He spent time in internal medicine and oncology as a medical officer before taking up a registrar post in anatomical pathology at WITS university.  He completed his FCPath (SA) examination and published his MMED in endometrial carcinoma in 2022.  Dr Ismail worked in private practice before joining PathCare in 2024.
Dr Ismail enjoys almost all general pathology, but has special interests in gynaecological pathology, dermatopathology and gastrointestinal pathology.
