Dineo Mabuza is originally from Pretoria. She obtained her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Pretoria in 2007. She performed her two-year internship, followed by one year of community service. Thereafter, she spent 6 months as a medical officer at a paediatric emergency unit.

In July 2011 she started her Registrar training in Chemical Pathology. She completed her postgraduate studies at Stellenbosch University in December 2015. Dineo worked as a Chemical Pathologist at the National Health Laboratory Service for 6 years where she was actively involved in clinical service, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as research. She has several publications to her name.

Dineo joined PathCare in February 2022. Her interests are general chemical pathology, endocrinology and value-based laboratory medicine.
