Dr Michael Hofmeyr

Dr Michael Hofmeyr joined PathCare in July 2002.
He completed his MB.ChB at UCT in 1990. After his internship he worked as a medical officer at Cecilia Makiwane Hospital. He spend time in the United Kingdom during 1994, where he worked in various locum positions.
Dr Hofmeyr initially enrolled as a registrar in the Department of Haemopathology at UCT in 1995 and passed his part I MMed examination, but in 1996 he continued his studies in anatomical pathology. He qualified as a histopathologist in 1998.
