Reinhardt is originally from Hartbeespoort in the North West province. He completed his undergraduate medical studies at the University of Pretoria in 2014, after which he did internship at Rob Ferreira Hospital in Mpumalanga in 2015 and 2016 and stayed on in the Department of Internal Medicine as Community Service Medical Officer in 2017. In 2018 he started registrar training at the National Health Laboratory Service and University of the Witwatersrand, where he finished his studies in 2021 to become a Chemical Pathologist. He joined PathCare in February 2022.

His special interests include Lipidology and Cardiovascular disease risk reduction; Data Analytics and Technology; and Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry testing.
