Dr Ryan Soldin

Dr Soldin grew up and attended school in Vereeniging, and thereafter attended the University of Cape Town. He completed his internship at CMH in the Eastern Cape and worked at Frere hospital afterwards. Thereafter, he spent 2 years working abroad in the UK and Canada, before returning to UCT to specialise in Pathology. He is married to Dr Jo Mcloughlin, with whom he has 4 wonderful children.

He has a special interest in bone, joint and paediatric pathology. He also enjoys cycling, fishing, hiking, playing bridge and spending quality time with his kids.

Dr Soldin is a member of the Pathcare Board and also our Research Committee
