Dr Tony Wu
Dr Hue-Tsi (Tony) Wu joined PathCare in October 2022 as an anatomical pathologist.
He completed his MBBCh with distinction at the University of Witwatersrand in 2004. He joined the registrar training programme in the Division of Anatomical Pathology at Groote Schuur Hospital/University of Cape Town in May 2005. He obtained his FC Path (SA) Anatomical Pathology fellowship from the CMSA in 2009 and was awarded the Coulter Medal for excellent results. He then obtained MMed with distinction in the dissertation (UCT) in 2011, and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK) in 2016.
From 2009 to 2022, Tony worked as a consultant anatomical pathologist in the NHLS at Groote Schuur Hospital laboratory and as a lecturer in the University of Cape Town. He was also a CMSA examiner and a member of the SAMRC Gynaecological Cancer Research Centre.
Tony has a special interest in gynaecological and urological pathology but enjoys all aspects of pathology.
