PathCare is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across South Africa and Namibia that has been assisting doctors and healthcare professionals determine and confirm diagnoses. We are registered with the HPCNA (Health Professions Council of Namibia) and all our laboratories are SANAS/SADCAS accredited.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Microbiologist to work at our Namibia branch. We seek a professional with appropriate qualifications, expertise, and a proven record of experience that aligns with the PathCare values of customer focus, accountability, respect, and an ethical approach to all aspects of health care.

Key Competency Requirements

  • Qualification requirements: FC Path (SA) Micro or M.Med (Med Micro).
  • The successful candidate must be willing to register with the HPCNA.
  • Must have relevant Clinical Microbiology experience.
  • Consultant experience in the public & private sector would be advantageous.
  • Ability to align with a clinically relevant value-based approach to pathology.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other official languages relevant to the area will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work within a team and contribute to the collective.
